Enchanté

Revolution Forever Flawless palette in ‘Enchanted.’

I bought the enchanted palette as a little Halloween present to myself, but it took me midway into November to finally use it. Why the hell did I wait so long? This palette is fantastic. I have nothing bad to say about it, which is almost a little disappointing, as you know I love a good bitch.

As I’ve said in past reviews, Revolution eyeshadows can be hit or miss. This is the best formula I’ve tried from then, including the Pro line. It’s buttery smooth and easy to blend. It feels like a high-end palette. The swatches do it no justice.

Here is the top row:

L-R: sable, creeper, hazel, vine, fern, grim.

Then the second row:

L-R: storm, frost, enchanted, elm, illusion, shadow.

And the third row:

L-R: haze, inky, trance, charm, star, bewitched.

This palette is so verstile, there are so many different looks you can create. I wanted to share a couple of looks so you can see how nicely the shadows work.

For this look I used elm on the lid and grim in the crease, and then added a wash of hazel.

For this one I used a combination of shadow and star. I'm really pleased with how it came out. Unfortunately it was already dark by the time I finished, and I had to go take this picture standing in the bathroom. Blame my landlord for the insane wall colour.

All the eyeshadows, even the dark ones, blend out smoothly and easily. I haven't suffered any irritation from any of them. This is fast becoming one of my all time favourite eyeshadow palettes and I will totally be buying more from this range.
