Don't mocha me

Wet n wild MegaLast Liquid Catsuit Matte Lipstick in 'Missy and Fierce' and 'Give Me Mocha'.

Wet n wild is fast becoming one of my favourite brands. I'm very tempted to make another order at the moment, even if many people do not consider makeup an 'essential.' Let me tell you, makeup and whiskey is all that's keeping me sane right now. Below are both shades swatched.

I said in my last blog post that I was looking for the perfect bright red, and in ‘missy and fierce’ I think I’ve found it. It’s apparently a dupe for Nars' velvet matte lip pencil in Mysterious Red, which was my very first red red (thanks lady in Space NK!). I don’t have it to hand to compare because I literally wore it to death, but I think Missy and Fierce is an admirable replacement, for literally a quarter of the price. Despite my gormless expression.

The formula of the liquid catsuits is comfortable and not drying. They don’t feel like a heavy layer on your lips. The curved doe foot make it easy to line your lips too. The colour ‘Give me Mocha’ is a light brown with a hint of red. I find it a very easy colour to wear, and it reminds me of a browner version of Nyx’s Budapest. Below you can see it on.

The liquid catsuits last well through drinking but will wear off with a meal. I also find that in doing so they tend to feel a bit gritty. Despite this, they do layer well, without colour change. I have been wearing these lipsticks loads since I got them, even if I’m only sitting in my living room. I only wish they came more in more colours!
